The build
This special purpose machine handles and lifts large sheet-metal weldments into the welding position on three servo-controlled axes.
The design was proven in 3D before manufacture, and custom PU gripper pads were developed and trialled so the machine holds the part firmly without marking the finished surface. Servo control gives soft acceleration, precise stopping and full recipe-based positioning for every job variant.
