The build
The positioner carries the fixture on two synchronised servo axes, tilting and rotating the component under program control so that each seam is presented to the torch in the optimum welding position.
Because the motion is servo driven and co-ordinated with the robot program, the operator loads once and the machine indexes through the full weld sequence — improving penetration consistency and removing awkward vertical and overhead welds.
